We have a private automobile insurance product underwritten by Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance (SMI).
Here's how it works:
- Purchase your basic automobile coverage's through the Government.
- Purchase all other coverage's through SMI.
- At claims time SMI will pay you the difference in coverage between the Government's Basic coverage and SMI’s improved coverage's. |

DefinitionFamily Protection Endorsement: Choose how you would like to be compensated if you or your immediate family is injured in an automobile accident outside of Manitoba.
The Family Protection Endorsement provides primary insurance coverage guaranteeing any bodily injury judgement awarded to you in an out of province lawsuit up to your limit of liability or a maximum of $2,000,000 Canadian.
